Occupation authorities: nuclear students were sent to WEC to practice

(ZAES)

The occupation authorities of Crimea decided to introduce the future profession to nuclear students by sending future power engineers to the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

The management of the plant itself promised to hold training courses, meetings with "managers" and practice at the fire safety training ground.

This was reported by Holos Kryma.

Meanwhile, the ZNPP administration emphasized that the situation is not very favorable for any excursions around the plant for young people. Therefore, the training takes place in the training center (STC), where the conditions are "as close as possible to production." It is in the laboratories of the STC that students have to perform their first practical tasks.

According to Valeriy Martyniuk, the "head of the STC," the internship at ZNPP is to be an "introductory course." At the same time, he noted that only two students are in their fifth year, but they already have "agreements" with the ZNPP "management" on further cooperation in the future.

We would like to remind you that we recently wrote about an archaeological expedition that is taking place right now, a few steps away from the Duke monument, in Odesa.

And today they found the walls of ancient buildings there. One of the walls, according to the researcher, turned out to be part of the 1902 funicular, the very first in the history of Odesa. Right under the rubble and concrete, they found hewn stone masonry built with clay mortar dating back to the 18th century. Therefore, archaeologists do not rule out that they have stumbled upon the wall of the artillery battery of the Khadjibey fortress and soon hope to find the fortress itself.

Earlier, students of the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after Ushynskyi and employees of the Institute of Archeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine found Roman pottery and building blocks at the foot of the monument to Duke de Richelieu on Prymorskyi Boulevard in Odesa.
