Occupants wound four children in Kherson region during shelling

Yesterday, on October 7, Prydniprovske, Zymivnyk, Antonivka, Sadove, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Novodmytrivka, Tomyna Balka, Shyroka Balka, Sofiyivka, Stanislav, Shlyakhove, Beryslav, Monastyrske, Mylove and the city of Kherson came under enemy fire and air strikes by the Russian occupation army in Kherson region.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

The official said that during the shelling of the region, the Russian military hit educational institutions, a cultural institution, a library and an administrative building; residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, 14 high-rise buildings and 15 private houses were damaged. The occupants also damaged private cars.

According to the Kherson MCA, the enemy continued to shell the settlements of the Kherson city territorial community with various types of weapons and launched an air strike on the central district of the city. Zymivnyk, Komyshany, and Sadove were also under fire. In particular, 10 private houses, a hangar, an administrative building, and two civilian cars were damaged. As a result of Russian hostile shelling of the Kherson city territorial community over the past day, 23 people, including two children, sustained injuries of varying severity. All were provided with the necessary medical assistance.

Prokudin added that as a result of Russian aggression in the region on October 7, one civilian was killed and 24 others were wounded, including four children. The largest number of wounded was during an air strike on the regional center. Thus, at about 10:40 a.m., the Russian army launched an air strike on Kherson. Previously, the enemy launched four guided aerial bombs at the regional center, which hit civilian objects. The blast waves damaged 14 apartment buildings, two kindergartens, two private houses, a school, and three cars.
