The Russian authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine have come up with a way to subsidize collaborators by providing them with crop subsidies.

This was reported by the National Resistance Center.

Under the guise of supporting the production of potatoes and vegetables, the so-called "government" provides money only to loyalists. The centerpiece of the scheme is forcing farmers to sell their crops for nothing to proxy firms that export Ukrainian products to Russia. The CNS emphasizes that these subsidies are taking place while the majority of the population is surviving without water and electricity.

We would like to remind you that the subsidy for IDPs to pay for housing in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions will be calculated individually for each IDP family.

For many internally displaced persons (IDPs), housing remains a major problem, especially due to high rental costs. To support IDPs who cannot cover these costs on their own, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and the Government have introduced a new program - a subsidy for rent. According to the adopted resolution, the subsidy will be calculated individually for each IDP family, taking into account income, number of family members and rental costs in a particular locality.

The subsidy will be awarded to families that spend more than 30% of their total income on rent. The program will be administered by the Pension Fund, and the application period is scheduled to start in mid-January 2025.

To prevent unreasonable rent increases, the subsidy will be available only if a formal lease agreement is in place. To encourage the conclusion of such agreements, the government will compensate landlords for tax expenses from rental income.
