Occupants shelled Mykolaiv region: houses and power lines damaged

Yesterday, on January 12, the occupiers fired on two communities in Mykolaiv region.

Yesterday, on January 12, at 10:59, 14:00 and 22:46, enemy artillery shelling was recorded in the village of Dmytrivka of the Kutsurubska community. As a result, residential buildings and power lines were damaged. Power supply in the settlements has been restored. There were no casualties.

Also yesterday, on January 12, at 13:54, hostile shelling was recorded in the waters of the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties.

As areminder, as of 07:30 am on January 11, Mykolaiv region came under enemy artillery fire.

The Russian occupation army shelled the city of Ochakiv and the Ochakiv community. In addition, on the night of January 8, air defense forces shot down an attack drone over Mykolaiv region.

Also, on the night of January 8, air defense forces destroyed one Shahed 131/136 UAV in Mykolaiv region.

On January 7, at 09:54, the enemy fired artillery at the coastline and the city of Ochakiv. The attack damaged an infrastructure facility. No one was injured or killed.

On the evening of January 6, an enemy Shahed hit a recreational area. As a result, a fire broke out at one of the mothballed recreation centers. The fire was quickly extinguished. No one was injured in the attack. Then the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 11 kamikaze drones. The attacks and combat operations lasted about 6 hours.

Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Association, showed a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle that was shot down in Mykolaiv region. The UAV looks more like a mountain of garbage than military equipment.

The Air Force reported that on the night of January 7, the occupiers launched 28 attack UAVs at Ukraine from the Prymorsko-Akhtarsk area. The main areas of attack were the south and east.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces destroyed 21 enemy drones. Anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the air attack.
