Occupants fired two missiles at Odesa region

On the night of August 22, the Russian occupiers fired missiles at Odesa region from the air.

According to the South Air Command, the enemy used two X-31P anti-radar missiles from the airspace over the Black Sea.

Mykolaiv region was also attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile.

Yesterday, on August 21, the air defense of southern Ukraine destroyed four reconnaissance UAVs - three Orlan-10s and a ZALA.

According to Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk, most of the enemy missiles failed to reach their targets due to active countermeasures. Preliminarily, there were no casualties or serious consequences.

In total, Ukraine was attacked by ten Shaheds, X-31P missiles and two Iskander-M missiles during the night. The air defense shot down two drones, and two more fell on their own.

On July 18, the Russian army launched a ballistic missile at Odesa region. They probably used an Iskander-M for the attack. But they managed to shoot it down.

On July 13, the Russian occupation forces also attacked Odesa region with a ballistic missile, probably an Iskander-M, from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea. The strike caused a fire on dry grass in an open area. The recreational and coastal areas were under enemy fire.

Meanwhile, Vygodianska community in Odesa district was hit by Russian aggression. 17 residential buildings and 3 apartments were damaged, and there are injuries.

The village council received 15 applications for financial assistance under the local Victims Support Program. On August 1, the commission reviewed these applications, and the final decision on the provision of assistance will be made at the next meeting of the executive committee. Residents will be notified of the results.

In addition, new fragments of the Shahed kamikaze drones used by the Russians to attack Ukrainian ports on the Danube the day before were found in Romania. Fragments of the UAV were found in the area of the Chatalkioi commune in Tulcea County.
