New searches are being conducted at the residence of Oleg Radkovsky, deputy chairman of the Odesa Regional Council. This comes less than two weeks after he was detained by the SBU on suspicion of bribery.

According to sources, the investigative actions are taking place simultaneously at several locations—two of Radkovsky’s residences, as well as the offices of commercial enterprises associated with him.

Reportedly, financial documents, digital media, and draft records were seized during the searches.

Sources at the Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office confirmed to Intent that the case is active, but they are not disclosing details so as not to jeopardize the investigation.

Intent attempted to contact Oleg Radkovsky’s assistant to clarify the details of the situation. However, as of the time of publication, we were unable to reach him.

According to information circulating in the media, these new developments may be related to an alleged scheme to sell humanitarian aid through the “7 Kilometer” market. The goods in question are estimated to be worth 44 million hryvnias.

Earlier, the publication “Antikor” reported that clothing and other goods were allegedly being imported into Ukraine from Turkey under the guise of humanitarian aid. At customs, the shipments were cleared as humanitarian aid for internally displaced persons and people affected by the war. According to media reports, instead of being distributed free of charge, the aid was sold through retail outlets for cash.

The case files mention the foundations “Doloni Pivdenna,” “Volunteer Wings,” and “Ridny Bereg.” The latter is headed by Serhiy Veselov, a member of the Fontanka Village Council from the “Batkivshchyna” party, and the fund’s co-founder is “Bereg-Group” LLC, whose primary beneficiary is Oleg Radkovsky.

On July 9, the prosecutor’s office, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), and the police reported the detention of the deputy chairman of the regional council in connection with a case involving a possible corruption scheme. Radkovsky and his alleged accomplices were suspected of extorting $50,000 from a local businessman.

According to the SBU, in exchange for this money, the deputy allegedly promised to ensure the unimpeded processing of permits for the construction of a cottage community near the port. If the developer refused to pay, they were allegedly threatened with artificial delays in the preparation of the documents.

The suspect’s last name was not officially disclosed, but Intent learned that it was Radkovsky —a fact also indicated by the published photographs.

As the Center for Public Investigations discovered, Radkovsky’s financial disclosure reveals details of his lifestyle: luxury real estate, substantial cash savings, and luxury goods. At the same time, the declaration lists loans and credits that have remained outstanding for years.
