Starting March 6, new systems for automatic detection of traffic violations will be launched on Ukrainian roads. Some of them will be installed in Odesa region and the city of Chornomorsk.

This was announced on his telegram channel by Oleksiy Biloshitsky, First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department.

In particular, in Chornomorsk, the camera will be installed at the intersection of Zakhystnykiv Ukrayiny and Vitaliy Shum streets. The device will record speeding violations in the direction of the T-16-47 highway.

Two more complexes will be installed on the M-15 highway in Odesa region - at 141 km +319 and 142 km +028 in the direction of Reni.

In total, 377 automatic detection systems will be in operation in Ukraine starting March 6. Of the 37 new cameras, most are being installed in new locations, and a few are being re-launched.

Earlier, nine auto-fixation cameras were installed in Odesa to control traffic speed on certain sections of city roads.

The installation of the new systems should help reduce the number of speeding violations and improve road safety.
