In Mykolaiv, it is planned to install solar panels in the production facilities of a water treatment plant. The contractor has six months to complete all electrical work and install the stations.

This is evidenced by the data of the electronic public procurement system Prozorro.

It is planned to overhaul the power supply system of the production facilities of the water treatment plant of the water supply system No. 986. More precisely, it is to provide an alternative source of power supply, solar panels.

The customer for the work is Mykolaivvodokanal, a municipal utility company. The auction is scheduled for November 18, 2024.

The expected purchase price is UAH 7 million 373 thousand 80. The minimum price reduction step is 1% of the procurement amount, i.e. UAH 73 thousand 730. The selected contractor must complete the works by May 30, 2025.

Bidders are not required to provide a bid security. However, the selected contractor must ensure the fulfillment of the contract. The amount of security for the procurement contract is 1% of its value.

Recently, Mykolaivvodokanal decided to purchase an expensive solar generator. They decided to spend almost eight million hryvnias on it. The goal of the project is to provide the company with a reliable, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective source of energy to reduce dependence on traditional energy resources, cut operating costs, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Mykolaiv also decided to install solar power plants on the roofs of its heating stations. This will provide an additional source of clean energy for the needs of local infrastructure. It is planned to install solar power plants with a capacity of 15 kW each on the roofs of the central heating stations of Mykolaivoblteploenergo. A total of 34 solar stations will be installed.

In September, solar panels were installed in three medical facilities in Mykolaiv Oblast. The installation of the power plant will significantly reduce the hospitals' electricity costs and ensure the smooth functioning of the facilities even during power outages. This will reduce the load on the general power grid and increase their energy resilience.
