In the Mykolaiv region, 108 schools are already connected to the Mriya electronic platform, which automates the maintenance of journals, grades, and reports for teachers, principals, and parents. Another 20 schools are planned to be connected by October, which greatly simplifies the digitalization of education in the region.

This was announced by Dmytro Havryliak, head of the digital development department of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

Among the speakers at the event were Maryna Mazur, Deputy Head of the Department and Head of the Digital Development Department, and Vladyslav Statsenko, Acting Head of the Department for Organizing the Activities of Administrative Service Centers (ASCs).

According to Dmytro Havryliak, 52 digital leaders from 52 communities are actively working in Mykolaiv region, which significantly exceeds the previous figure of 22 leaders. This puts the region among the leaders of Ukraine in terms of preparation for digital integration.

Maryna Mazur spoke about the regional digital transformation index. In the second quarter of 2024, Mykolaiv region reached 36 points, which is 13 points more than in the previous quarter. The growth occurred in the areas of digital economy, infrastructure, public services, and digitalization of territorial communities.

The region is also implementing the Mriya platform, an electronic system for schools that reduces bureaucracy, automates journaling, and generates reports for teachers, principals, and parents. In the Mykolaiv region, 108 schools have already been connected, and 20 more are planned to be connected by October.

Another area of focus was the creation of a "blackout internet map" together with LUN and the Ministry of Digital Transformation, which allows assessing internet accessibility during blackouts and applying for improved coverage.

Vladyslav Statsenko spoke about the development of ASCs in the region. In 2024, two modular ASCs have already been opened in the Bashtanka and Snihuriv communities, new units are operating in the Kobliv community, and two territorial units (Korabelny and Zavodsky districts) are operating in Mykolaiv.

Particular attention was paid to electronic services at the ASCs, including an electronic queue and integration with state registers. In the Mykolaiv region, 10 ASCs have been introduced with an electronic queue, which allows citizens to schedule visits and receive services online or offline.

Mykolaiv region also ranked first in Ukraine in terms of verification of addresses in the unified state register, ahead of Kherson region by more than 2%. Digitalization efforts continue with the support of partners and donors, including the Swedish Polaris program and UNDP.

At the same time, according to the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine's 2024 regional digitalization ranking, Mykolaiv region is ranked almost at the bottom in terms of digital transformation.
