An extraordinary session of the Mykolaiv Regional Council is scheduled for July 3. Among the issues to be considered by the deputies are the creation of a national resistance center and the transfer of vocational schools to municipal ownership.

The relevant order was signed by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council Anton Tabunschyk.

The extraordinary 30th session of the Mykolaiv Regional Council will be held on July 3 at 10:00 a.m. in a remote format via video conference.

During the meeting, the deputies plan to consider about 30 issues. Among them are the recognition of the powers of new deputies to replace those who have left, as well as the creation of a regional center for training citizens for national resistance and the appointment of its head. In addition, it is planned to transfer several vocational schools to the communal ownership of local communities, including Pervomaiskyi Vocational College, Vocational School No. 21 in Mykolaiv, and Shipbuilding School.

The deputies will also have to approve regulations on the operation of several social institutions, including neuropsychiatric boarding schools in different districts of the region, geriatric boarding schools, a center for registering homeless people, a regional center for social services, and a center for social and psychological assistance.

In addition, the session will elect a chairman of the standing committee and select candidates for the annual Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine award for teachers.

Recently, Mykolaiv Regional Council approved amendments to the charters of three medical institutions so that they could create medical advisory commissions instead of medical and social expert commissions. At the same time, the idea of opening pharmacies in hospitals was rejected due to possible losses and lack of financial justification.

During the last session, the deputies considered the transfer and write-off of property, amended the charters of the regional clinical hospital, children's clinical hospital and phthisiopulmonary medical center, and discussed the transfer of real estate to the regional center for medical statistics.
