Mykolaiv region will have no gas for several days

The Yelanetska community of Voznesensk district will temporarily stop supplying natural gas for several days due to scheduled repairs to gas distribution networks.

According to the Mykolaiv branch of Gazmerezha, gas supply will be absent from 08:00 on March 16 to 16:00 on March 19 in the following settlements of the community

In addition, in the village of Berezneguvate, Bashtanka district, gas supply will be temporarily suspended from 08:00 on March 16 to 18:00 on March 30. Restrictions will apply to the following streets:

Heroiv Azovstal Street, Dobra Street, I. Borshchak Street, Kartava Street, Korchaky Street, Kosmonavtiv Street, Lazurna Street, Lesya Kurbasa Street, Medychna Street, Nagartavska Street, Nezalezhnosti Street, Serhiy Vakalov Street, Pylyp Orlyk Street, Svobody Chepurnogo Street, Vasyl Symonenko Street.

Experts explain that the repairs are being carried out to maintain the proper technical condition of the networks and ensure safe supply of natural gas to consumers.

Gas supply will be resumed gradually after the planned works are completed.

Residents are asked to turn off the taps on gas pipelines in front of gas appliances and provide access to the equipment in their homes for employees of the Mykolaiv branch of Gasmerezha to carry out a range of works to restore gas supply.

It is also emphasized that gas supply will be restored only in the presence of residents in their homes or apartments, as this is necessary for safe connection.

The company apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks the residents for their understanding.

As Intent previously reported, new tariffs for natural gas distribution came into effect in Mykolaiv region on January 1, 2026.

In addition, in August 2025, the specialists of JSC Khersongaz were actively working to restore gas supply in the de-occupied territories of Kherson region. During this period, they managed to localize and repair 340 damages to gas networks, which allowed gas to be returned to the affected settlements.
