The Bashtanka District Prosecutor's Office has enforced the decision of the commercial court, which resulted in the return of an 11-hectare forest land plot to the state.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Prosecutors found that the StateGeoCadastre Office in the region, while conducting a land inventory, mistakenly or illegally formed an agricultural land plot as an object of civil rights and transferred it to municipal ownership.

Instead, the said land plot included the lands of the state forest fund, which are in permanent use of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine". The court decision was fully enforced, and the forest land was returned to the state.

On August 11, in the evening, a large-scale fire broke out in the Andriyivskyi forest tract near Mykolaiv.

The fire released about 30 thousand tons of pollutants into the atmosphere, including 28.5 tons of carbon dioxide. The total damage from the excessive emissions amounted to UAH 110 million. The State Emergency Service emphasizes that such fires not only destroy natural ecosystems but also negatively affect air quality.

Specialists from the State Ecological Inspectorate of the Southwestern District have calculated the air damage caused by the fire at the Privoz market in Odesa, which was caused by Russian shelling.

The fire released almost 160 tons of pollutants into the atmosphere, including 158 tons of carbon dioxide. The amount of damage to the air is UAH 482,157. This refers to the shelling on July 24, which resulted in a large-scale fire at the Privoz market in Odesa's Prymorskyi district. The area of the fire reached 2,000 square meters.
