Mykolaiv plans to carry out a large-scale reconstruction of the water supply network on Velyka Morska Street from Sadova to Nikolska.

This became known from the ProZorro electronic procurement system.

The customer of the works is Mykolaivvodokanal, a utility company that has estimated the cost of rebuilding a 100 mm diameter pipeline at almost UAH 23.8 million.

According to the national classifier DK 021:2015, these works fall under the category of final construction works and involve a complete rebuilding of the facility. The tender is currently at the stage of accepting bids, so all interested companies have until January 16, 2026 to submit their applications.

This initiative is part of a large program to restore Mykolaiv's critical infrastructure, which has been operating in extremely difficult conditions recently. By replacing the pipes in this area, the utility is expected to improve the quality of water supply and minimize the number of gusts in the city center.

As a reminder, a large-scale upgrade of leisure infrastructure is planned for Mykolaiv in 2026: Pilot utility company intends to carry out maintenance of at least 150 playgrounds and sports grounds.

This initiative is aimed at restoring facilities that have not been properly maintained or damaged for a long time to ensure safe conditions for active recreation for citizens.

The amount was formed based on an analysis of the actual scope of work in previous years, as the number of sites in need of maintenance is growing every year. In addition to repairing the existing facilities, the allocated funding will allow us to purchase a limited number of new play elements, such as slides, sandboxes and balancers. However, the company's key strategy remains to maximize budgetary savings through the development of its own production.
