A continuation of the session of Mykolaiv City Council, which began on December 30 at 11:00 a.m., has been scheduled for February 3, 2026. Currently, the agenda is not available on the council's website.

This became known from the announcement on the website of Mykolaiv City Council.

It should be recalled that on December 30, the officials were also going to continue the session that started on February 30 last year. Therefore, the session of the Mykolaiv City Council of the VIII convocation was held in a mixed format. Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych issued Order No. 639r to convene the session on December 16.

During the October session, Senkevych announced that a New Year's Eve session would be held. The main issues were related to the budget and land. It is also worth mentioning that in Mykolaiv region, Pivdenoukrainsk was left without a budget for 2026 due to disruptions in the city council sessions. In response, the mayor appealed to the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration to introduce a military administration.

In Pivdennoukrainsk, city council members once again failed to gather for a meeting, leaving the community without an approved budget for 2026. At the end of the year, Mayor Onufrienko repeatedly convened both scheduled and extraordinary sessions, emphasizing the critical need to adopt a financial document and decisions important for the stable operation of the city.

In particular, on December 24, an extraordinary session initiated by 16 deputies did not take place. The mayor agreed to their request and proposed an agenda of five issues, including both mandatory issues and those directly related to the needs of the community. However, only two of the sixteen deputies who had signed the request to convene the meeting showed up at the scheduled time.
