Mykolaiv MPs exposed for bribery

According to the results of YouControl's analytical study, which covered the period from 2021 to early 2026, more than three dozen MPs of Ukraine were in the crosshairs of the High Anti-Corruption Court.

This became known from YouControl's analytical research .

Among the defendants in the cases are representatives of Mykolaiv region - Ihor Negulevskyi and Iryna Kormyshkina. The analysis of court decisions confirms that representatives of the Servant of the People faction are significantly leading in the number of proceedings. Majority MP from Mykolaiv region Ihor Negulevskyi is involved in cases under the article on receiving undue advantage.

According to analysts, he is one of the key defendants in the proceedings related to the so-called 'paid votes' in the parliament. Earlier, Negulevskyi was released on a record bail of over UAH 30 million, which was covered by private companies and lawyers, and the case of his alleged bribery is currently under active consideration by the HACC.

At the same time, the situation with former MP from Mykolaiv Iryna Kormyshkina has already entered the phase of final court decisions. YouControl's analytics confirm that she was one of the few people who made a deal with the investigation in the case of illegal enrichment. According to the court materials, Kormyshkina was sentenced to five years of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of two years.

In addition, she is obliged to pay UAH 20 million to the state budget and transfer another two million to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The case concerned assets worth more than UAH 20 million, including a house near Odesa and jewelry, the origin of which the MP could not explain.

In total, the study identified thirty-five MPs of the ninth convocation who have problems with the law. Most of them are members of the Servant of the People party, but proceedings have also been opened against representatives of the Party for the Future and Restoration of Ukraine groups, as well as the European Solidarity, Fatherland, and Trust factions. The most frequent charges are false declarations and various forms of undue advantage.
