Mykolaiv Mayor Senkevych's Family Income Hits ₴7.5M in 2024

Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych has filed a declaration for 2024, which shows an increase in his family's income, as well as new expenses for renting housing abroad.

The declaration was published by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, according to the Center for Public Investigations.

Over the year, the mayor's salary increased by UAH 267 thousand to UAH 946 thousand, while in 2023 he received UAH 678 thousand. The total family income in 2024 reached 7.5 million hryvnias, the bulk of which came from the business activities of his wife Kateryna Senkevych - 4.8 million hryvnias.

In 2023, Kateryna Senkevych declared renting an apartment in Poland with an area of 68 m², but in 2024 the area almost doubled to 112 m². The rental costs for five months amounted to 485 thousand hryvnias, or about 97 thousand hryvnias per month.

Increased savings

The Senkevych family's total bank assets in 2024 amounted to:

Cash savings remained at the level of 75 thousand dollars.

The mayor's wife continues to invest in crypto assets. In 2024, she bought cryptocurrency worth UAH 3,989, while in 2023 this amount was much higher - UAH 18,199.

Kateryna Sienkiewicz also increased her stake in Czarne Moge LLSi (registered in Poland) from 25% to 40%.

The new declaration indicates that Oleksandr Senkevych still does not own any cars, while his wife continues to rent a VOLVO XC90 (2018).

Meanwhile, the family of Vitalii Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military District Administration, has significantly increased its financial assets over the past year, and the main new source of income has been the sale of cryptocurrency.

Recently, the Center for Public Investigations analyzed which government officials received financial assistance from the budget in 2024. In particular, the officials' declarations indicate that most of them have foreign currency savings and property, including land plots, apartments, and cars. Only the mayor of the city , Oleksandr Senkevych, whose salary consists mainly of salary and bonuses, did not receive any additional payments in 2024.
