A full house gathered at the Mykolaiv shelter near the House of Fleet Officers - the townspeople came to hear and see Serhiy Zhadan, Yulia Payevska ("Tyra") and Yevhen Turchynov, who visited as part of the Charter Tour.

This was reported by Inshe.tv.

Mykolaiv became the final point of this tour, which began in February in Kharkiv and passed through Poltava, Kremenchuk, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, Bila Tserkva, Cherkasy, and Odesa.

The main goal of the tour is to tell about the 13th Brigade of the National Guard "Charter", which is the newest unit built on modern principles, without "sovietness". The guests of the event heard not only stories from the participants, but also saw an interactive exhibition set up in the courtyard of the DofE.

Older visitors listened attentively to the speeches, while young people were actively interested in the possibility of joining the army. According to Serhiy Zhadan, part of their group consciously decided not to hide from mobilization.

"Part of our group decided that we are people of conscription age, so we will not hide, stay at home, or go out. To use corruption schemes is humiliating and unacceptable. That's why we made up our minds and immediately decided where we would go, because we actually created the Charter," Zhadan said.

"Tyra, who joined the brigade two months ago, shared her experience, including her captivity and how the occupiers perceive Ukrainians. She also shared her dream of having modern medical robots working on the battlefield instead of paramedics.

The guests of the meeting asked questions not only about military service, but also about creativity. It was Yulia Payevska who sensed the mood of the audience and invited Serhiy Zhadan to recite his poetry, which was a bright end to the evening.

Recently, the soldier and frontman of the band "Numer 482" Vitaliy Kirichenko recently gave a charity concert in Odesa to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The main hit of the evening was the legendary song "Good Morning, Ukraine!", which caused a real delight among the audience.

During the event, valuable lots were raffled off, and all the funds raised were used to help the Ukrainian military. The concert was conducted by the conductor of the Kharkiv Regional Philharmonic, Serhiy Lykhomanenko, who has been serving in Donetsk region for three years as an officer of the 5th Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Ode to Resilience music project combined creativity and military experience to become a cultural and charitable initiative. The series of concerts featured symphonic works by contemporary composers inspired by the events of the war in Ukraine.
