Mykolaiv honors best students for achievements in education and volunteering

Mykolaiv students were awarded scholarships. The awards were presented by the mayor of the city, Oleksandr Senkevych, who praised the achievements of young people.

Mykolaiv awarded the best students with scholarships from the mayor and the city council. The awards were given to students who have proven themselves in their studies, active social activities and volunteer initiatives in difficult wartime conditions.

According to Oleksandr Senkevych, the scholarships were awarded to the most talented representatives of the city's youth. He noted that success requires hard work on oneself and wished the students to improve every day and not to stop there.

About one hundred students from Mykolaiv universities, colleges and vocational schools were awarded this year's scholarships.

Mykolaiv recently allocated half a million for scholarships for students of local educational institutions. The decision was aimed at supporting and developing young talent in various fields. According to the resolution, UAH 555,675 was allocated for scholarships. The initiative aims to support gifted youth and promote the development of science, culture, art and sports in the city.

And Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov ordered to establish scholarships of the Odesa Mayor for 20 students of Odesa general secondary education institutions. The scholarships will be paid from January to June in the amount of UAH 1,000 per month.

Ukrainians can also receive a voucher for training in 16 more professions and 15 specialties that are currently in demand on the labor market. The Ministry of Economy has updated the list of professions and specialties for which a voucher can be issued, which now includes 95 professions and 60 specialties.

In total, the voucher can be used for training in 155 professions and specialties in IT, construction, transportation, education, medicine, agriculture, social services, etc.
