One of the communities in Mykolaiv Oblast planned to build a warning system. Almost UAH 4 million was allocated from the city budget for this purpose.

This is evidenced by the data of the Prozorro public procurement system.

The Domanivska settlement territorial community plans to build a modern automated centralized alert system. It will help to promptly inform residents about emergencies.

An open tender was announced for the project, and the expected cost of construction is UAH 3.94 million.

The warning systems are planned to be installed in 7 settlements: Domanivka, Marynivka, Zelenyi Yar, Shchaslyvka, Volodymyrivka, Petropavlivka, and Tsaredarivka.

Bids will be accepted until April 5, and the auction will take place on April 7. The works are scheduled to be completed by December 5, 2025.

The new warning system will allow residents to be warned in a timely manner about possible threats, such as natural disasters, man-made accidents or military risks.

The customer is the Department of Economics, Rural Development, and Land Relations of the Domanivka Village Council, which will be responsible for the project implementation. It is expected that upon completion of the construction, the community will receive an effective security system that will meet modern requirements and facilitate rapid response to emergencies.

Bidders must provide documents confirming that their tender proposal meets the technical, qualitative, quantitative and other requirements for the subject of procurement. The selected contractor must also provide a bank guarantee for the execution of the contract in the amount of 2% of the contract value.

The Kherson region also initiated the construction of a centralized warning system that will allow the public to be promptly informed of threats and emergencies. It is planned to raise more than UAH 5 million for the project. The system will include signaling and loudspeaker devices that will transmit signals through various communication channels, including satellite and radio broadcasting, and the GSM network.

Earlier, a company with a dubious reputation was awarded the contract to build a warning system for Mykolaiv region. The contract value exceeds UAH 86 million. The company was accused of monopolizing the alert system market, having ties to a deputy who is currently hiding abroad due to corruption cases, and cooperating with Russian companies.
