Mykolaiv has set the date for the next session of the city council. It is planned to approve the reorganization of the hospital, changes to the city's economic and social development program, as well as the reconstruction of important city facilities.

This is stated in the order of the mayor Oleksandr Senkevych. The online broadcast of the event is traditionally organized by Intent.

The session of the Mykolaiv City Council of the VIII convocation will be held on February 27, 2025 at 11:00. The meeting will be held remotely via video conference.

The session is expected to approve the reorganization of the Center for Socially Significant Diseases by merging it with the Primary Health Care Center No. 2, consider amendments to the Program of Economic and Social Development of Mykolaiv for 2024-2026, and expand the economic activities of Mykolaivoblteploenergo.

There are also plans to reorganize the Fairy Tale Children's Village Cultural and Gaming Complex. The complex is to be merged with the Mykolaiv City Palace of Culture and Events.

In addition, the deputies are to approve the city's public budget and decide on the reconstruction of hospitals, educational institutions, the executive committee building, a boiler house, and a zoo.

Despite the law of Ukraine on local self-government, the agenda for the next session has not been published as of three o'clock in the afternoon.

Mykolaiv City Council has been holding sessional meetings remotely for more than two years. However, in addition to the non-transparent voting procedure, when it is not clear whether a deputy is present at the meeting, there are other comments on the organization of online voting.

For example, during an extraordinary meeting of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, which was also held online, it was impossible to determine how many deputies participated in it, as the attendees were not shown. Only Vitalii Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military District Administration, and Anton Tabunshchyk, the chairman of the regional council, were on the screen, announcing the number of people present and those who supported the appeal. At the same time, in 2023, local councils became more open about publishing information about their deputies compared to 2022.
