Mykhailo Lemak, Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional Military District Administration, concluded the work and summarized the results

Mykhailo Lemak, deputy head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, completed his term after a year and a half of work in the war. After his dismissal, the official decided to return to the State Border Guard Service, staying in the Kherson direction.

He announced this on his page, summarizing the key results of his activities in the JFO.

According to Mykhailo Lemak, the main achievements include progress in the digital transformation of the region. Kherson region has risen from 22nd to 10th place in the Digital Transformation Index of the Ministry of Digital Transformation. For the first time, a regional informatization program was developed. It was possible to fully restore electronic document management, increase the level of cyber security, provide frontline villages with "start-ups" and return all ASCs to work(there are 49 of them), including in the de-occupied territories.

In addition, in 2024, the number of active entrepreneurs increased by 1400, and more than 2500 new individual entrepreneurs and companies were registered in the liberated territories. Kherson region is among the top five leaders in terms of business revenues to local budgets, and wage arrears have been reduced by 88%. With the assistance of the administration, the "5-7-9%" and "eRobota" programs have been re-launched in the region.

The official also emphasized the progress in international cooperation. Over the past year and a half, 13 agreements have been signed with foreign partners, including Italy, the United Kingdom, and Sweden. We managed to attract assistance worth more than UAH 1.5 billion.

Upon completion of his term, he returns to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, maintaining his focus on the Kherson region. Mykhailo Lemak was appointed Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional Directorate in November 2023. Prior to that, he served as a junior border guard inspector in the seventh Carpathian border detachment.

The Center forPublicInvestigations found out which officials of the Kherson Regional Military Administration received the most additional payments to their basic salaries. In 2024, he received UAH 294 thousand in additional payments, including UAH 83 thousand in vacation pay and UAH 210 thousand in financial assistance for health and living expenses. In total, his earnings for the year amounted to UAH 953 thousand.
