Oleh Kiper, the head of Odesa Regional Military Administrative Court, commented on the situation with a nurse of the MSEC and the District TCC and JV, whose property in the city center was found to be worth millions of hryvnias.

During the briefing, Oleh Kiper was asked about a high-profile case: an ordinary nurse of the regional medical and social expert commission (MSEC) and the district TCC and JV was found to have real estate in the center of Odesa worth about UAH 4.5 million.

The media reported that the property in the Athena shopping center was not declared, raising suspicions of possible corruption.

Answering journalists' questions, the head of the Odesa Regional Audit Office said that "there are competent authorities to investigate such cases." According to him, it is currently impossible to say for sure where the nurse got such real estate.

"It could be an inheritance, a gift or something else. Itis important that the relevant authorities carefully examine this issue," Kiper suggested.

He emphasized that investigating such cases is the work of specialized institutions that will definitely make the results of their checks public.

"I would not comment on the details until there are official conclusions, it is not within my competence," Oleg Kiper summarized.

Earlier, the SBI reported exposing an organized group of doctors who helped healthy men of military age obtain medical documents that allowed the medical and social expert commission to declare them unfit for service.

Meanwhile, journalist Iryna Hryb reported that the staff of the regional medical examination commission appointed Mykola Holubenko, a doctor who previously headed Odesa Maternity Hospital #2, as its new head.

The previous head of the Odesa Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise, Olena Stanislavova, resigned.

October 22 Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin announces that he is resigning from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine due to the facts of abuse in the system of prosecution bodies of Ukraine.
