The Department of Capital Construction of the Izmail City Council has signed a direct contract with the Rodnik company of city councilman Igor Dekhtyarev to overhaul the premises of the ASC to equip the Ukrainian Army Recruiting Center.

The cost of the work is almost 719 thousand hryvnias. The contractor has until April 28, 2025 to complete them. Any details on the scope and list of works are unknown, as the tender documentation is not available. The customer only reported on the fact of signing the contract with the contractor.
The Executive Committee authorized the works at its meeting on December 13. This is evidenced by decision No. 1244.
The repair work will be carried out in a building at 62 Nezalezhnosti Avenue, where, in addition to the ASC, the city council and district administration are located.
The first step towards the establishment of the Recruitment Center in Izmail was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in September 2024 between the Executive Committee of the Izmail City Council and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to organize cooperation until the end of 2025. The document provides for the arrangement of locations for recruiting motivated citizens to the Armed Forces, and the promotion of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) among the residents of the Izmail city territorial community.
In November, the Izmail Administrative Services Center announced a competition to fill the position of "Izmail Recruiter" with a salary of UAH 8,000-12,000. The position is responsible for searching for candidates for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, accompanying them to military service, and keeping weekly reports.
The Ukrainian Army Recruitment Center is a pilot project of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to attract citizens to military service. The recruitment center helps to choose a military specialty and find a place in the Armed Forces, taking into account the age, education, experience, and wishes of candidates.
