Mobile team of doctors provided assistance to more than 700 residents of Kherson region in a week

Volunteer medics continue to help residents of the Kherson region.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

The post says that over the past week, a mobile team of doctors from the Fortitude UA charitable foundation visited seven settlements in the Beryslav region.

It is noted that residents of Novopavlivka, Pervomaiske, Bila Krynytsia, Mala Shestirna, Novohryhorivka, Zahradivka, and Pryhirya could consult and be examined by a family doctor, neurologist, ophthalmologist, endocrinologist, and cardiologist free of charge. In addition, patients were given the necessary medicines and glasses as prescribed by doctors. In total, more than 700 residents of the region received medical care.

The Fortitude UA Charitable Foundation continues to implement the project together with the International Rescue Committee and with the support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund.

Earlier it was reported that residents of the part of Kherson region liberated from the Russian occupiers continue to receive quality medical services. Thus, a team of volunteer doctors from the Fortitude UA charitable foundation visited Blahodativka, Tverdomedove, Bruskinske, Ishchanka, Bilousove, Nova Kaluga and Karerne. Patients were seen by a family doctor, a neurologist and a cardiologist, and an electrocardiogram was performed if necessary. Traditionally, the clinic on wheels had a laboratory where patients could have a general blood test, check blood glucose and cholesterol levels. Medicines were given to patients free of charge as prescribed by doctors. During the week, the team was able to examine 619 local residents.<span> </span>

Also, since the beginning of 2024, the specialists of the Phthisiopulmonary Medical Center have made almost 100 visits to 55 settlements in the region.
