In Dniprovske village of Bilozerska village community in Kherson district, Kherson region, a local resident tripped an explosive device.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, on the morning of November 3, a 50-year-old man came across an anti-personnel mine. As a result of the detonation, he sustained an explosive injury, contusion and traumatic amputation of his leg.

"The victim was taken to hospital. Currently, doctors are providing him with all the necessary assistance," KHOVA added.

In total, since the beginning of 2024, the State Emergency Service in Kherson region has recorded 38 cases of explosive explosions. These incidents killed 11 people, including 1 child, and injured 33 others, including one child.

The emergency service reminds:

Earlier, the Russian occupation army, which cynically terrorizes the population of the de-occupied Kherson region, recently remotely mined a section of one of the streets in the Dnipro district of the city with anti-personnel landmines"Petal".

Farmers in the Kherson region can apply for compensation for landmine clearance through the State Agrarian Register. On the right bank of the Kherson region, a tenth of the agricultural land will be unsuitable for its intended use for some time, even after it is completely demined.
