Over the past day, eight civilians, including children and the elderly, were injured as a result of massive shelling in Kherson region. More than 30 civilian objects were damaged, including residential buildings, hospitals, kindergartens, and farmland, and dozens of hectares of wheat were destroyed.

This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.

The de-occupied settlements of the Kherson region are once again under massive artillery and drone attacks by the Russian military. Eight civilians were injured in the shelling and explosions, and more than three dozen civilian objects were damaged, including residential buildings, kindergartens, a hospital, and agricultural land.

Hostile attacks hit Kherson, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Dariivka, Stanislav, Poniativka, Novokayry, Chervonyi Yar and nearly two dozen other settlements. In Novokayra and Ponyativka, shelling damaged pre-schools, and in Chervonyi Yar, a hostile drone burned down 30 hectares of wheat field and 10 hectares of forest belt. In Bilozerka and Dariivka, Russian drones wounded three people, including a 68-year-old man who was seriously injured after dropping explosives near the post office.

In the evening and at night, hostile shelling continued: four high-rise buildings were damaged in Kherson's Tavriyskiy district, and an 85-year-old woman was injured. In another incident, a 65-year-old man was seriously injured after picking up a Russian drone that detonated.

In total, 21 Russian war crimes were recorded over the past day - the police opened criminal proceedings, and investigators, explosive experts and forensic scientists worked at the sites of the attacks. All damages and crimes are being carefully documented for further investigation.

Over the past day, the police recorded 407 appeals from citizens and opened 18 criminal proceedings over war crimes. At least 17 private houses, four cars and a bus were damaged by shelling, and in Novooleksandrivka an FPV drone hit a local cultural center that had been damaged earlier, injuring at least six people.
