Kherson Regional Council to Discuss 18 Agenda Items on February 27

At the XIX extraordinary session of the Kherson Regional Council to be held on February 27 at 10 am, the deputies will consider 18 items on the agenda. These include the approval of an anti-corruption program, the liquidation of some schools, and the transfer of property.

The relevant draft decisions state that the deputies will be asked to amend a number of internal regulatory documents, including the approval of the Anti-Corruption Program of the Kherson Regional Council.

In addition, the session is planned to grant the Vysokopil Lyceum the right to operational management of real estate and the right to permanent use of land plots, and the municipal institutionBeryslav Medical Professional College to consent to amendments to the information contained in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations.

The deputies will also decide on the transfer of real estate from the joint ownership of the territorial communities of villages, towns, and cities of Kherson Oblast to the communal ownership of the Kalynivka settlement territorial community.

The agenda also includes the issue of liquidating the Olhovo Scientific Boarding Lyceum and the Kalynivka Special School in Beryslav district. Children studying in these institutions will be able to continue their education in another educational institution in the region.

The order of the head of the Kherson Regional Council , Oleksandr Samoilenko, states that the session will be held in the format of a video conference.

At the XVIII extraordinary session of the regional council, deputies of the VIII convocation Vesna Martynova and Ihor Yosypenko terminated their powers early. The reason was their voluntary resignation. Among other draft decisions at the plenary session of the Kherson Regional Council, the deputies considered an appeal of the Kherson Regional Council deputies to the Government, the Cabinet of Ministers and the President of Ukraine on the reorganization of the regional library for youth named after B.A. Lavrenov, the regional Children's Home, and the skin and venereal disease clinic.
