A partnership agreement has been signed between Kherson Oblast and the French region of Brittany.

This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

Prokudin signed a memorandum of cooperation with the President of the Regional Council of Brittany, Loïgue Chenet-Girard. The memorandum of cooperation with the Regional Council of Brittany opens up new opportunities to support the population of Kherson region and strengthen the region's capacities. Specific steps to help include the transfer of additional anti-drone nets from the National Committee of Fishermen of Brittany and humanitarian supplies.

By the way, thousands of kilometers of fishing nets provided by the Brittanys earlier have already become an effective defense for the residents of the region against enemy air attacks. In addition to security issues, the partnership also includes social and environmental projects.

In particular, a summer vacation for children from the Kherson region is planned in Brittany. A 'Field of Friendship' will also appear in the region, where French plants will be planted to study their adaptation to the local climate. Such cooperation will allow the regions not only to share experiences but also to create sustainable ties for the region's recovery.

Earlier, Ukraine and Lincolnshire (UK) signed an agreement on cooperation in the agricultural sector.

"In Lincolnshire, I signed a memorandum of cooperation with agricultural enterprises in the region. This is not just a document, but the beginning of new opportunities for Kherson farmers who continue to work despite all the difficulties," the official said.

Lincolnshire is a powerful agricultural region in the East of England with advanced technologies. According to Prokudin, this cooperation opens the door to new knowledge, experience and support for local farmers.

"We are talking not only about technology, but also about real assistance in the development of the agricultural sector, which is key for Kherson region ," Prokudin added.
