Kherson region is providing modern mobile shelters for Ukrainian defenders.

This was reported by the press service of the Congress of Local and Regional Councils under the President of Ukraine.

The post says that as part of its support for the Armed Forces, the Kherson Regional Council purchased ten high-tech Parasolka shelters. The total cost of the project is UAH 17.8 million.

It is noted that the defensive structure provides reliable protection against fire from various types of small arms, artillery shelling, and drone attacks. In addition, the design features allow for effective fire in different directions without endangering the soldiers.

The press service emphasized that the Parasolka is characterized by ease of installation and high mobility. It takes only one hour and the efforts of two soldiers to install the shelter. Each armored shelter has a three-layer camouflage coating that protects against corrosion, retains heat inside, and provides additional camouflage.

"Parasolka was developed by Parabella, a company with almost 70 years of experience. It has been tested according to all standards, both Ukrainian and NATO, and most importantly, it has been approved by our defenders," said Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Academy.

Prokudin also said that the region is providing the necessary modern office equipment to the military defending Kherson region. The aid will allow the Defense Forces units to process information more quickly. The tablets, laptops and scanners will be useful for the defense personnel to perform combat missions and administrative work. Stanislav, Novoraysk and Novomykolaiv communities helped to provide this support.
