Kherson region plans to renovate 18 kilometers of roads for tens of millions

Two highways in Kherson region are scheduled to be repaired by the end of the year. More than UAH 43 million was allocated from the local budget for this purpose.

This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro public procurement system.

The state institution Local Roads of Kherson Region has announced two tenders for the maintenance of local roads in Kherson district. The total length of the sections planned for repair is 17.8 kilometers, and the expected value of both procurements exceeds UAH 43 million.

The first tender concerns the repair of the road Skhidne - Zahorianivka /M-14/ on the section from km 8+000 to km 21+200. The total length of this section is 13.2 km. The expected cost of the works is over UAH 20 million. Bids will be accepted until June 18, and the auction is scheduled for June 19. The minimum price reduction step is 200 thousand hryvnias or 1%.

The second tender concerns the repair of the Nadezhdivka-Rozlyv road. It is planned to renovate a 4.6-kilometer-long section. The cost of works under this procurement is UAH 22.9 million. Bids can be submitted until June 20, and the electronic auction is scheduled for June 23. The minimum bidding step is UAH 229 thousand.

Contractors need to provide a bid security: for the first procurement - more than 100 thousand, for the second - more than 114 thousand hryvnias.

The works are to be completed by the end of 2025. Payment is to be made after the actual completion of the work and within the available budget funding.

Recently, a tender was announced in the Kherson region to find contractors to repair two sections of the road running from Dnipro to Mykolaiv regions. The customer was also the state institution Local Roads of Kherson Region, which organized an open tender for the repair of a local road on the route Zahradivka - Kochubeevka - Davydiv Brid - Kalynivske - Bobrovyi Kut. The estimated cost of the works is UAH 95 million.

The winner of a tender for road repairs worth over UAH 400 million was also selected. Previously, this company was suspected of embezzling budget funds. This is the second major contract in the region this year where the company was the only bidder and won without competition.
