Kherson official worked for the occupiers under a pseudonym

An ex-accountant of the Kherson Architectural Control Department, who worked for the enemy under a pseudonym, will be tried in Kherson region.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The post says that under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, an indictment was sent to court against the former chief accountant of the Kherson Architectural Control Department on the fact of collaboration (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The investigation established that in July 2022, the accused, having agreed to cooperate with the enemy, took the position of the so-called "Head of the Revenue and Consolidated Budget of the Department of Budget and Finance" in the illegal administration of Kherson region. During the occupation of the regional center, she worked under a pseudonym. It is noted that she was responsible for controlling expenditures on housing and communal services, money for which is allocated from the "local budget", assessing the effectiveness of spending, etc.

The special pre-trial investigation was conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine in Kherson region.

Earlier it was reported that two women would be tried for participating in the organization and conduct of a pseudo-referendum in Muzykivka. The investigation established that in September 2022, the accused joined the so-called "precinct election commission" that was preparing an illegal "referendum" in the village of Muzykivka. The women, accompanied by armed Russian soldiers, went to the homes of local residents, urging them to participate in the "vote."

A resident of Kherson region, who became the head of the occupation "council of deputies of the Genichesk municipal district," is also suspected of collaboration.
