The Kherson Regional Military Administration has decided to provide payments to the families of fallen Ukrainian soldiers. The project provides for a one-time financial assistance and monthly payments for housing and utilities for all family members of the deceased. The only condition for this category is registration and actual residence in the Kherson region.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

The one-time payment will amount to 900 thousand hryvnias. Monthly payments will cover housing and communal services.

The husband or wife of the deceased soldier is entitled to receive funds and benefits. As well as children and grandchildren. The innovation also applies to dependents. And even civilian wives. The law also provides for a monthly allowance for minor children of the deceased Ukrainian soldier.

Documents to be submitted for the allowance: application, death certificate of the deceased, documents proving kinship, documents confirming registration and actual residence. And other official papers, depending on each situation individually by law.

We would also like to remind you that this year Mykolaiv residents were promised 100 thousand UAH each. For the dead or for treatment. The support was usually provided once a year and could reach up to 10 subsistence minimums, depending on the specific situation. In this way, Mykolaiv City Council decided to support the civilians of their city.

However, the law should not be abused. For example, there was an incident in Mykolaiv region with a mother of many children. A woman who had been receiving payments as a single mother for several years was brought to court. In this way, she illegally seized state budget funds in the amount of almost UAH 150 thousand.
