The Kherson City Territorial Community has officially approved the Program for Supporting Mobilization Activities for 2026.

The corresponding order was signed by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Yaroslav Shanko.

The program is aimed at implementing the state policy in the field of defense, mobilization training and ensuring the life of the community under martial law. It involves organizing conscription, transportation of persons liable for military service, provision of transportation and material resources, and enhancing the readiness of local governments to act in a special period.

One of the key activities of the program is the purchase of fuel and lubricants for the transportation of persons called up during mobilization to their places of deployment. More than UAH 2.38 million is planned to be allocated for this purpose in 2026. Funding will come from the budget of the Kherson City Territorial Community, as well as from charitable contributions and other sources not prohibited by law.

The program's implementers are the Executive Committee of Kherson City Council, municipal enterprises of the community, in particular, Kherson Municipal Transport Service, and other involved entities.

The document also provides for ensuring the readiness of authorities, territorial recruitment and social support centers, enterprises and institutions to perform mobilization tasks, organize military registration, notify the population and supply the necessary resources.

The program will run through 2026 and is part of the systematic preparation of the community to function under martial law.

The budget of the Kherson City Territorial Community for 2025 has also recently been amended. The adjustments are related to the receipt of additional funds from the state budget and the redistribution of expenditures between certain sectors.
