Kherson Announces ₴180M Tender for Public Road Maintenance by 2026

Kherson has announced a tender for the maintenance of public roads worth over UAH 180 million. The work should be completed by March 2026, including repairs, roadside cleaning and emergency response.

This is according to the Prozorro public procurement system.

Kherson district plans to carry out maintenance of public roads of national importance. The Kherson Regional Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service has announced a tender for the work. The total expected cost of the works is UAH 180 million 32 thousand 962. The source of funding is budgetary funds.

The minimum price reduction step is UAH 900,164. The bidders must also secure their offer in the amount of UAH 5 million 400 thousand 988.

Applications for participation in the auction will be accepted until April 7, 2025, and the auction will take place on the same day. Until April 4, potential bidders can ask questions about the terms of the tender or challenge them. The winner is required to provide an electronic bank guarantee in the amount of 5% of the contract value.

The works are expected to be completed by March 31, 2026. The list of services includes road surface maintenance, roadside cleaning, emergency response and other measures to help keep the roads in good condition.

In addition, Kherson district plans to carry out emergency road repairs, for which almost UAH 70 million will be allocated from the budget. Under the terms of the tender, the contractor is obliged to ensure safe and uninterrupted traffic by performing the relevant works.

This is not the first multimillion-dollar tender announced by the Kherson Regional Restoration and Infrastructure Service. In particular, more than UAH 170 million is planned to be spent on the operational maintenance of public roads of national importance in Beryslav district. The contractor will have to restore the profile of drainage ditches manually, clean them of dirt and debris, and clear the roads of snow in winter.
