Kherson allocates 198 million to support water utility

In 2025, more than UAH 198 million will be allocated for financial support of the Kherson City Water Utility.

The relevant order was signed by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Yaroslav Shanko.

The total amount of support is UAH 198.26 million. The funds will be used to meet the company's basic needs, including

Kherson Vodokanal performs a critical function of providing the city with water supply under martial law, so stable financing of the company remains one of the priorities of the city authorities.

In particular, today, on July 25, Oleksandr Prokudin reported on Kherson region's readiness for winter during a meeting of the headquarters for the preparation of housing and communal services and the fuel and energy complex for the autumn-winter period of 2025/26. During the discussion, a key issue was raised - the sustainable passage of the heating season in the context of a major war. Despite the constant Russian shelling and targeted attacks on energy infrastructure, the Kherson region continues to prepare for winter.

This year, the United Nations has donated office equipment to Kherson Oblast to help those affected by the war. This assistance will enable local administrations to respond quickly to the needs of the region's war-affected residents. The new equipment will be an indispensable tool for effective coordination, improvement of administrative services and support for the population.

Earlier it was reported that Kherson received three trucks and spare parts from Japan as municipal property.
