Izmail Vodokanal is allowed to receive a loan of UAH 2 million

One of the issues on the agenda of the plenary session of the Izmail City Council held on February 6 was the authorization of the Izmail Vodokanal to raise loans.

The deputies unanimously supported the decision to conclude a loan agreement with Ukreximbank in the form of an overdraft for up to UAH 2 million.

According to the approved document, the following key terms of the loan are set

• The term of the agreement is 12 months from the date of signing;
• interest rate - no more than 17.75% per annum;
• monthly loan management fee - 1% per annum of the limit.

As stated in the document, the proceeds will be used to cover the temporary shortfall in the company's working capital and ensure the stable operation of the water utility. Control over the implementation of the decision is entrusted to the City Council's Standing Committee on Infrastructure and Life Support. It is worth noting that the Izmail Vodokanal has been attracting credit resources in recent years on a regular basis and annually.

The members of the Izmail City Council unanimously supported the decision to terminate the lease agreement with the Central District Hospital of Safianivka Village Council for the premises in Izmail where the infectious diseases department is located.

Also, the Department of Housing and Communal Services in Odesa region summarized the results of a tender to select a contractor to restore the parking lot for heavy vehicles in Izmail. The truck parking lot will be arranged on the way to the transshipment points of the Izmail Commercial Sea Port. According to the terms of the contract, it should be completed within the next six months. All the necessary work is expected to be completed by the end of 2027. The works will be financed in several tranches during the specified period.
