Izmail Port Selected a Company from Chornomorsk to Repair a Ship for 15 Million

The state-owned enterprise Izmail Commercial Sea Port has selected the winner of the tender for the repair of the Izmail-8 motor ship.

This is reported by Intent with reference to the public procurement website Prozorro.

The port awarded the contract for UAH 15 million to the only bidder, Scorpion Marine LLC from the city of Chornomorsk, Odesa region. The vessel is to be repaired by the end of 2025. Its key parameters are as follows: weight - 142.3 tons, length - 28.97 meters, width - 7.9 meters, and beam height - 2.7 meters.

The technical documentation specifies a list of works, including preparatory work to replace sealing gaskets in the necks of various types of tanks and fuel tanks, docking and hull work, cleaning and painting of the hull, tiller room, boiler room, deck, wheelhouse and other components of the ship. The contractor will also clean and paint three anchors weighing 200, 300 and 800 kg. The ship's name will be refreshed in the same way. The steering gear, main and auxiliary engines, electric motors, and pumps will also be repaired. Fire alarm stations with sensors

The warranty period for ship repairs is 1 year, and for paint and varnish work - 2 years.

According to the YouControl analytical service, Scorpion Marine LLC was registered in Chornomorsk in 2018 with an authorized capital of UAH 302 thousand. The main activity is the repair and maintenance of ships and boats. The sole founder is Yevhen Prysyazhnyk. The company is managed by Dmitry Koshev.

Judging by its previous contracts, Scorpion Marine LLC repairs boats for the Reni and Izmail ports, the USPA, and military units.
