Deputies of the Izmail City Council supported the decision to make local borrowing in 2026 in the amount of up to UAH 50 million.

According to an Intent correspondent, the funds are planned to be raised in the form of a loan from Ukreximbank to finance community development budget projects.

According to the decision, the funds will be used to implement two investment projects. The first one involves the reconstruction of the admission department of the Izmail City Central Hospital. The second one concerns the overhaul of the parking lot for heavy vehicles on the way to the Izmail Commercial Sea Port.

The city council plans to raise a loan in the form of a non-revolving credit line for up to 60 months at no more than 22% per annum. The loan will not be secured by any property. Repayment of the loan and payment of interest will be made at the expense of the city budget. Control over the implementation of the decision is entrusted to the Standing Committee of the City Council on Budget and Socio-Economic Development. The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine has already approved the loan terms for Izmail City Council.

The city plans to allocate over UAH 21 million for the construction of a truck parking lot. The contractor will overhaul the driveways, parking lot, sidewalks and adjacent infrastructure with a complete replacement of the pavement and upgrade of engineering elements. Workers will lay drainage and storm sewers, replace and install new drainage trays; repair manholes and ceilings, and waterproof elements.

The authorities have allocated one million hryvnias for the technical supervision of the reconstruction of the non-residential building letter A of the Izmail City Central Hospital, including the admission department.
