Izmail City Council Plans to Modernize Shopping Center for Almost 13 Million

In Odesa region, they plan to repair the premises of the district shopping center and joint venture. They are ready to spend more than UAH 12 million on the work.

The Center for Public Investigations learned about this from the Prozorro public procurement system.

The customer was the Department of Capital Construction of the Izmail City Council of Izmail District, Odesa Region.

According to the tender documentation, it is a reconstruction of the premises of the building "B" of the district territorial center for manning and social support in Izmail. The expected cost of the purchase is UAH 12 million 532 thousand 40, which will be allocated from the local budget.

The bidders can submit their proposals until August 22, and the winner will be selected the next day in the format of open bidding with special conditions.

Open bidding with special features means that almost all terms are shorter than those of open bidding under the Law on Public Procurement. This means that this procurement is much faster than open tenders.

The period for submitting proposals is seven calendar days, and the period for challenging qualifications is five calendar days.

The selected contractor must complete the work by April 1, 2025.

The project will involve dismantling old partitions and installing new ones made of plasterboard, which will be painted. One of the rooms will be tiled, the walls will be painted, the floor will be covered with laminate, and the ceilings will be made of Armstrong plates. The old doors will be replaced with metal-plastic ones, the window grilles will be renewed, the wiring and switches will be replaced, and new electrical panels will be installed.

The building's facade will also be renovated: the walls will be insulated and painted, the entrance staircase will be tiled, and a ramp and handrails will be installed.

The contractor to be selected must complete the work by the end of December 2025.

Meanwhile, the Ananievo Multidisciplinary City Hospital in Odesa Oblast is again looking for a contractor to overhaul the protective structure at the medical facility.

The Izmail City Central Hospital has announced an open tender with a special focus on finding a company to repair the transfusion department located in the clinic building at 6 Klushina Street.

Also, the construction of a new family medicine outpatient clinic is planned in Odesa Oblast. They are ready to spend more than UAH 50 million on this.
