One of them was the tender of the Department of Municipal Economy of the Odesa City Council, which is looking for a contractor to restore the common property of an apartment building at 8-B Shevchenko Avenue in Odesa.

The building was damaged during an attack by Russian drones in Odesa on January 17, 2024. At that time, Odesa, according to the South Operational Command, became the main target of the Russians. In total, the enemy launched 20 Shahed-131/136 unmanned aerial vehicles in Ukraine, of which 19 were shot down by air defense - 11 drones were shot down on the approach to the coast of Odesa. The kamikaze drones were approaching at a critically low altitude from the Black Sea.

A gas pipe in a five-story building caught fire, and apartments on three floors were on fire. Cars parked nearby were also damaged.

130 people were evacuated from the building, and a mobile heating station was set up at the site. Psychologists of the State Emergency Service provided assistance to local residents. As a result, the facade of the building over an area of 100 square meters was partially destroyed. The blast wave damaged eight cars, and four more burned to the ground. Three people were injured.
