The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has identified another 178 cultural heritage sites illegally appropriated and exported by Russia from the occupied territories.

This was reported by Radio Liberty.

According to intelligence, the robbery is carried out under the guise of scientific and exhibition activities, which is an attempt to erase Ukrainian national identity. One of the most cynical crimes was the robbery of the nationally significant reserve 'Kamianna Mohyla' (near occupied Melitopol).

The invaders took 120 archaeological artifacts from there and opened an exhibition of them in the Chersonesos Tavriya Museum-Reserve in Crimea. This act took place after the "director" of the Chersonese of Chersonesos, Olena Morozova, officially sent a delegation to study the reserve's funds, which turned out to be a preparation for the illegal export of valuables.

In addition, more than 140 artifacts were discovered as a result of illegal archaeological excavations conducted by the occupiers at historical sites in Crimea, including the suburbs of Chersonesos Tavriya, Kadykovo settlement and the Byzantine architectural monument of the Church of St. John the Baptist. The GUR emphasizes that by appropriating Ukrainian culture, Russia is trying to legalize aggression and occupation. The information about the stolen valuables was entered into the international registry War & Sanctions.

Meanwhile, in Crimea, at a so-called conference , racists discussed the protection of the rights of the Russian-speaking population in Ukraine and other European countries. They proposed to create a UN resolution and prepare legal mechanisms to counteract "discrimination" against Russians.

Participants of the "XVI Yalta International Conference" of the Russian magazine "International Life", held in occupied Yalta, prepared proposals for the development of a resolution for the UN General Assembly with the assistance of the Russian Foreign Ministry on the "inadmissibility of discrimination against the Russian and Russian-speaking population in historical places of residence", in particular in Ukraine, Latvia and Estonia.
