In the Odesa region, power was restored to 226,000 customers following the attack

Work is continuing in the Odesa region to restore power following a massive Russian attack that took place on the night of August 9.

Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, reported this, citing DTEK Odesa Power Grids. Over the past 24 hours, power workers have restored electricity to nearly all critical infrastructure facilities, as well as to 226,700 customers.

Currently, power has been restored to two-thirds of the households that were left without electricity due to the Russian attack.

Repair crews continue to work around the clock to restore power to all consumers as quickly as possible.

Efforts to address the aftermath of the massive attack on the Odesa region are ongoing.

As a reminder, on the night of August 9, Russian forces carried out one of the most massive strikes on the Odesa region, using 11 missiles of various types and up to 100 drones, including jet-powered drones and “Banderole”-type loitering munitions.

The nighttime attackdamaged infrastructure and residential buildings. In Odesa, several residential buildings in two districts were damaged and partially destroyed. Cars belonging to local residents were also destroyed or damaged by the fire.

According to updated data,the number of casualtiesresulting from the enemy’s nighttime attack on the Odesa region has risen to 12 people, 11 of whom were hospitalized with moderate injuries. Another casualty received outpatient treatment.
