The patrol police had to call several additional crews to detain the man and take him to the territorial center for recruitment and social support.

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa Patrol Police.

According to the police, the conflict occurred on January 19 near the Angelica market in Odesa. At about 13:00, law enforcement officers stopped a VAZ car at a patrol police road station.

When checking the documents, the patrol policemen found out that the passenger of the car was wanted under Article 210 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (Violation of the rules of military registration by conscripts, persons liable for military service, and reservists).

The inspectors informed the man of the need to go to the district territorial center of recruitment and social support for further procedural actions. The citizen did not agree and began to flee the scene in the direction of the market.

While the man was being detained, a crowd began to gather around him - people tried to prevent the detention. Several additional crews were called to the scene. Soon, the man was detained and handed over to the RTCC and the JV. A report on administrative detention and a report under Article 185 (malicious disobedience to a lawful order or demand of a police officer) of the Code of Administrative Offenses were also drawn up against him.

In December, the Kyiv District Court of Odesa ordered the police to launch an investigation into a lawsuit filed by an Odesa resident against the actions of military personnel at the territorial center for recruitment and social support. The SBI also exposed employees of the Odesa TCC who detained men at checkpoints and demanded money for a deferral from mobilization. SBI officers exposed employees of the Odesa District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support who extorted money from conscripts at checkpoints in the region. They stopped the men, recorded their personal data, and informed them that they planned to bring them to the TCC for mobilization.
