In Odesa, a fine was imposed on the director of two private companies who, without authorization, built an extension for a pharmacy on municipal land and ignored a court order to demolish it. The man fully admitted his guilt.

This is stated in the verdict of the Primorsky District Court of Odessa.

The businessman was found guilty of illegal construction on city-owned land and willfully disregarding a court order. For each of these violations, the court imposed separate fines of 34,000 and 17,000 hryvnias; in total, the businessman must pay 51,000 hryvnias. The court also lifted the seizure of his apartment, which had been imposed as part of the criminal proceedings.

The convicted individual is an Indian citizen and the director of “Alisa. Line of Life” LLC and “Anushka. Line of Life” LLC. In 2015, he purchased an apartment in Odesa. In 2018, without having the right to the land plot belonging to the city’s local community, he built an addition to the apartment. As a result, the apartment’s area increased from 52.7 to 82.7 square meters.

Subsequently, according to the case file, following the preparation of technical documentation and a change in its designated use, the apartment was reclassified as non-residential space. A pharmacy was established there.

In 2022, the Odesa Court of Appeals ordered the man to vacate the unlawfully occupied property and restore the apartment to its previous condition. He failed to comply with the ruling.
