The police and the Security Service of Ukraine detained a family that acted on the orders of Russian Federation in Odesa: they destroyed a relay cabinet of Ukrzaliznytsia and a military evacuation vehicle.

This was reported by the SBU Office in Odesa region.

The investigation established that the minor was recruited through a telegram channel in search of easy money. Her curator remotely controlled her actions and promised a monetary reward for performing sabotage tasks.

The girl set fire to the relay cabinet of the Odesa branch of Ukrzaliznytsia. Later, she involved her mother in illegal activities, who set fire to an evacuation vehicle used to transport the wounded from the front on July 5.

The curator also set a task to take pictures of places where the military were gathered.

The 58-year-old woman was served a notice of suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (assistance to the aggressor state).

The issue of bringing to justice the minor involved is being settled.

The operation was conducted by the SBU Office in Odesa region jointly with the National Police under the procedural supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Earlier, we wrote about how three residents of Odesa tried to set fire to a traffic light relay cabinet at the Odesa-Skhidna railway station.

There was also a case when a rescuer of the State Emergency Service engaged in sabotage in favor of the enemy.

For example, between November 2019 and June 2020, touring crews from Dnipropetrovs'k region set fire to three luxury cars in Odesa for a monetary reward.

There was also a publication on our website that said that Odesa, which is on the last line of the CPI, also became the worst Ukrainian city in the Security of Doing Business component.
