Mykolaiv has developed a clear action plan to respond quickly to Russian shelling. Thanks to it, city services immediately arrive at the scene and begin to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack.

This was reported by the press service of Mykolaiv City Council.

According to Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych, all city services begin to operate after the "arrival".

Rescuers, police, medics, utilities and the district administration arrive at the scene. The authorities set up tents to help residents, where they can get help and find out what to do next. Law enforcement officers are also setting up a tent to collect information about damaged property.

On November 2, Mykolaiv declared a day of mourning for the citizens who died as a result of the November 11 attack by Russian occupiers. On that day, five Mykolaiv residents became victims of the aggressor. The enemy used a thermobaric type of Shaheda charge. This means that the occupiers deliberately hit residential areas of the city with a shell designed for maximum damage.

In the evening of November 14, Odesa was also under massive attack by Russian drones. Fires broke out in various places. A 35-year-old woman sleeping under a window was killed by enemy shelling. Also, 10 people were injured.

The attack damaged residential buildings, cars, a church, and an educational institution. Fires broke out at six different addresses, which rescuers quickly extinguished.
