On Ukraine’s Independence Day, August 24, passengers wearing vyshyvankas will be able to ride buses operated by the “Mykolaivpastrans” municipal enterprise for free.

According to “Mykolaivpastrans,” this is the company’s traditional Independence Day promotion.

"Mykolaivpastrans" has called on city residents to wear embroidered shirts on this day and take the buses to create a festive atmosphere together and show respect for Ukrainian traditions.

Currently, thousands of Mykolaiv residents use the company’s buses every day. In July, “Mykolaivpastrans” buses carried more than 500,000 passengers.

Every day, 38 buses operate on five city routes, providing connections between various neighborhoods in Mykolaiv.

The company notes that passenger traffic is gradually increasing. They are also working to improve the quality of service and expand options for passengers.

Therefore, on August 24, passengers wearing vyshyvankas will be able to ride “Mykolaivpastrans” buses for free.
