In Mykolaiv, eight hundred thousand were allocated from the budget for the improvement of green areas

In Mykolaiv, over eight hundred thousand hryvnias were allocated from the city budget for landscaping. The city plans to lay a pavement, install trash bins, benches and tables.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the public procurement system Prozorro.

It is planned to carry out maintenance of public amenities in the green zone at two addresses. The customer of the works is the administration of Ingul district of Mykolaiv city council.

The expected cost of the procurement at 30a Mykolaivska Street is UAH 495 thousand 364, and at 57 Kosmonavtiv Street - UAH 356 thousand 520.

According to the tender documentation, at the first address, the contractor has to dismantle the asphalt and dismantle the curbs, dismantle old small forms in the amount of 100 pieces, install 296 curbs, and arrange 100 pieces of small forms. The contractor also has to install a table on metal racks, a trash can, and two benches with backrests at each site.

At the second address, the contractor is to trim 100 trees, remove 10 trees, uproot 100 stumps, install 132 curbs, 3 benches, 3 trash bins, and create one parking lot for strollers. Also, 10 bushes and trees will be planted.

The deadline for submitting bids is November 1. The auction is scheduled for November 4.

The minimum price reduction step is 50% of the purchase amount. The selected contractor must complete the improvement works by December 25, 2024.

And the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Mykolaiv region has announced an auction for the repair of a highway. More than UAH 400 million is planned to be spent from the budget. It is planned to overhaul the transport facility at km 144+360 of the public road of national importance P-55 Odesa - Voznesensk - Novyi Buh, Mykolaiv region. The tender states that additional work is required.

Also, the historic gate in Mykolaiv will be restored, which is in disrepair. They are an architectural monument of local importance. Mykolaiv authorities have already signed a contract with a contractor to develop a restoration project. The paperwork was estimated at almost 500 thousand hryvnias.

In addition, the city has planned to repair the sites for garbage containers. Almost 800 thousand hryvnias have been allocated from the budget. The administration of Zavodskyi district has planned to repair 11 sites for solid waste containers.
