In Mykolaiv, a new millionaire firm was awarded the contract to develop documents for the cancer center shelter

An agreement was signed in Mykolaiv for the production of design estimates for the construction of a shelter at the regional oncology center. The contract was awarded to a newly created company that earned several million in public procurement in 2024.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Prozorro procurement system.

A protective shelter is planned to be built on the territory of the Mykolaiv Regional Oncology Center. For this purpose, a contract has already been signed for the development of design and estimate documentation.

The contract without the use of an electronic system was signed with Verterra LLC for UAH 1 million 490 thousand. The expected procurement cost has not been changed. The company is obliged to prepare documentation for the construction of a civil defense facility at 18 Mykolaivska Street, Mykolaiv, by the end of March 2025.

According to the YouControl online analytical system, Verterra LLC was registered on March 23, 2023 in Mykolaiv. Its authorized capital is 50 thousand hryvnias, and the owner is Oleksii Yevhenovych Zemlianyi. The main KVED is activities in the field of architecture. The company has no negative mentions in the media, as well as no enforcement actions.

However, during the year of its activity, the company managed to earn UAH 6 million 791 thousand 48 in public procurement . The company's main customers were the Mykolaiv Regional Employment Center and the Department of Urban Development, Architecture, Capital Construction and Project Support of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration. The company received the most money from the last contract for the production of documentation for the oncology center.

Mykolaiv also allocated another UAH 10 million to create an organ transplantation laboratory. The agreement was signed with Interbud Construction Company LLC. The first contract with the contractor was signed in September 2023. At that time, the tender stated that the work should be completed by December 31, 2024. The company was paid over UAH 22 million, but the contract was canceled in October.

In addition, the reconstruction of the basement to shelter the lyceum was given to a company that constantly receives contracts from city council offices and departments. Only one participant, ITC Mykolaivbud LLC, was present at the auction and the contract was signed with them. In 2023, Mykolaiv City Council filed a lawsuit against the company.
