Over the past day, Russian troops once again attacked settlements in the Kherson region, using artillery, mortars and drones. Nine civilians were wounded and dozens of buildings were destroyed as a result of the attacks.

According to the Kherson Military District Administration, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Beryslav, Mykilske, Kozatske, Vesele and more than 40 other settlements came under enemy fire. The shelling damaged two multi-storey buildings, 48 private houses, a gas station, outbuildings, garages, monuments and private cars.

Nine civilians were injured as a result of the Russian invaders' attacks.

According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, in the village of Antonivka, rocket artillery strikes injured two women, aged 48 and 61. Two men, aged 59 and 61, were also injured in the same place as a result of a drone attack.

In Beryslav, the Russian military dropped explosives, injuring a 48-year-old man. The occupiers did not avoid Kherson itself: artillery shelling injured a 62-year-old local resident. Prosecutors have launched an investigation into war crimes.

Meanwhile, police evacuated a 75-year-old woman from the frontline town of Beryslav who had been injured by a Russian mine. The local resident stepped on a "petal" mine left by the occupiers while grazing her goats. The explosion caused her severe injuries - the woman lost her leg. The police provided first aid and promptly took her to a safe place.

On January 29, three civilians in the Kherson region became victims of Russian aggression, and ten more people were injured.

During the enemy shelling in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, the building of a school was severely damaged. Earlier, Russian troops fired twice at rescuers. During the shelling of one of Kherson's neighborhoods, an employee of the State Emergency Service was injured while performing emergency rescue operations. He was hospitalized.
